![]() Not that I love it less, it still provokes the same emotional response that it did in me 25 years ago a weird sense of coming home and belonging. As a child obsessed with the film I never found its structure as weird as I do watching it again as an adult. The Last Unicorn screenplay was written by Beagle himself so remained 99% true to the story which is always a gift in itself. But it wasn’t until I was in my twenties that I found Peter S Beagle’s classic and fell in love with the story all over again. ![]() ![]() When I was a child, I found myself enchanted by a film above all others, it was many years later that I came to love the book too.Īs I love reading you’d expect me to have discovered that The Last Unicorn was a book long before I did. ![]()
